I needed a surveyor and my price quoted for a HomeBuyer survey was very competitive. Paul telephoned me the same day and went to survey the property a week later. He emailed me the day before to confirm and also let me know when he had arrived at the property. As soon as he had done the survey he let me know within a couple of hours that the house was fine. The mining report revealed historical claims against the property I am buying. I decided to have a RICS HomeBuyer Survey Level 2. I found details of Norton Highfield Ltd on the RICS website. I've completed the online form, received a call back the same day. Paul was great, friendly and explained in detail what to expect from the survey. The great thing for me was that Paul was able to visit the property in 2 days (some places had waiting times of more than 2 weeks and quotes were twice higher). Paul called me straight away after he visited the property, gave me a quick update and later next week he provided a report with photos and a traffic light system highlighting which issues were urgent and which ones could wait. We used Paul at Norton Highfield for a first-time buyer purchase of a property. The report was detailed and thorough, it really helped us to have a costing of possible prices to help put into context the repairs needed and how to prioritise them. There was also a clear rating system used which helped to inform which issues could wait and which required more immediate attention.
